The National D-Day Memorial on Saturday welcomed Adrian Cronauer, an Air Force disc jockey during the Vietnam War, for a presentation at Bedford Elementary School.
Cronauer, who was on the air at Armed Forces Radio Saigon nearly 50 years ago, was noted for his opening shout of "Goooooooooooood Morning Vietnam," and which was made famous by Robin Williams in the movie of the same name.
Cronauer was appointed to a Pentagon office charged with locating and identifying POW/MIA service members, and that was the focus of his presentation, "Never Forget."
