Punxsutawney Phil — eat your heart out.
The American robin has become a whistle-blower on this American hoax.
The robin knew better than to arrive before the last blast of winter. Usually the robin shows in great numbers around Valentine’s Day.
I saw two on March 1, and on March 10, enormous quantities were seen in fields and yards.
Finally! Just now we can feel that spring has sprung.
