A wreck involving a Ryder truck and an SUV slowed traffic Wednesday morning on U.S. 220 in Roanoke County.
Roanoke County police Sgt. P.J. Pascoe said the box truck pulled off of Yellow Mountain Road and collided with a white SUV around 7:30 a.m.
Pascoe said one person was injured in the crash, but didn’t have any further information on that person’s status.
The left lanes of both northbound and southbound U.S. 220 were temporarily closed as crews cleaned up glass on the road, Pascoe said.
