Virginia Tech student found dead in dorm
Police do not believe foul play was involved.

A Virginia Tech student was found dead in a residence hall Thursday evening.
According to a news release from the university, a resident adviser in Newman Hall found a male student in his dorm room after the student had not been seen for about a day.
The student was found shortly before 5:25 p.m. Virginia Tech police and rescue squads responded. Virginia State Police are assisting in the investigation.
The release said investigators do not believe foul play was involved. The university said it does not believe there is any threat to the community.
