Military personnel should be armed
I never thought I’d see the day when the U.S. military would have to depend on police to keep its personnel safe. This is No. 2 in killings on military bases where personnel were allowed no weapons.
Is that because the military can have weapons only on the field of battle, leaving service members at the mercy of how quickly police can respond? How absurd is this?
And how absurd is it that someone would make a political statement blaming it on the sequester or a political party?
I support and admire police officers, but something is wrong when only police can arm themselves and the U.S. military can’t. We don’t see deranged people shooting up police stations. Even they have sense enough to know it wouldn’t go well for them.
Are the military and our schools going to have to depend on the police for protection?
Mass shooters go where the guns aren’t. It’s time we wake up.
Cuccinelli will fight for Virginians’ rights
In some political races, people have to choose between a bad candidate and a worse candidate.
I am so glad to find that in this year’s Virginia governor’s race, that’s not the case. Because this race includes Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
Cuccinelli has raised a family and built a distinguished career in Virginia. He has stood for the Constitution and fought for the rights of all Virginians. And he will continue to do so as governor.
A Virginian for Virginia is what we really need.
