I no longer live in the Roanoke area, but now read The Roanoke eTimes. On April 25, the Pick of the day (“Violence follows us home”) by Michael Bentley stated that he didn’t see much difference in the Boston bombing and illegal drone attacks by our country killing innocent people.
In war, innocent people are killed and injured. The intent with a drone attack is to harm as few as possible innocent people.
In Boston, the intent was to kill and injure as many innocent children and adults as possible. Remember, there is video showing the bomb being placed near the 8-year-old boy.
How could The Roanoke Times not see the difference? Pick of the day — give me a break.
