What a joy it is to hear beautiful classical music as well as bluegrass in our little town of Floyd.
We and many others have been tremendously impressed with the quality and professionalism shown in the initial concerts of the 10-day-long Virginia’s Blue Ridge Music Festival here in Floyd.
In addition to the talented classical musicians, we are grateful to the many volunteers, donors and businesses throughout the Floyd/Roanoke/New River Valley area who have made this major undertaking possible. A special thanks should go to our friends and neighbors who have served on the festival’s board of directors and have invested countless hours to bring this exciting musical event into reality for Floyd.
There are several more great concerts to come. More details on the last three major concerts can be found on the website: VirginiasBlueRidgeMusicFestival.org.
We are glad the festival is making plans to return next year.
