Botetourt chamber of commerce elects officers, appoints board members

The Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce elected Pete Pearl, an attorney with Spillman, Thomas and Battle, as president of the board of directors. Other elected officers include Dan Babish, Roanoke Cement, first vice president; Stephanie Frost, Comcast Spotlight, second vice president; Scott Winter, Winter Properties, past president; and Doloris Vest, chamber executive director, secretary-treasurer.

Three new members were elected to three-year terms on the chamber board of directors: Granville Grant, Spectrum Design; Tiphanie Whitt, First Citizens Bank, Daleville; and Lisa Barnett, Botetourt County school system.

Four board members were reappointed to second terms: Pete Pearl; Cassandra Dove, Greenfield Education & Training Center/Virginia Western Community College; Stephanie Frost, Comcast Spotlight; and Mary Ann Layman Miller, Bank of Fincastle.

The Botetourt chamber serves businesses and the community by providing business services, professional development and public advocacy.
