The Travel Blog for Virginia is for Lovers has named Fincastle as a Christmas town as of Dec. 10.
The reason? Those great old fashioned lights. We had a previous story about the lights, the struggle to get them on the streets and trying to keep the funds coming.
Town Manager David Tickner said,"The Town of Fincastle and the citizens of Fincastle try to maintain our appeal 365 days per year. However, we are thrilled to be named a Christmas Town!"
So help your Christmas town and congratulations to the Town of Fincastle!
