Is it really a good idea to have an attorney who defends criminals writing criminal laws?
"criminals writing criminal laws" Dude, you just made that up.
Steven, can you read more than a word at a time? I said “a defender of criminals” is “writing criminal law.” Comprendo?
Makes just as much sense as prosecutors of criminals being made judges, or creating laws.
You really don't see a difference in the people who choose to enforce society's laws as opposed those who choose to break them?
I have no hope that Republicans are fit to judge anything pertaining to the law. Their hatred of anyone not like them oozes out of every pore. Time to drag Virginia, even kicking and screaming, into the new century, and give those accused an avenue toward actual justice, which is available in every other state in the union. Given Va.'s penchant toward looking backward and longing for the way it used to be when those not rich, white or male knew their place.
