Staff from Foot Levelers, a custom orthotic company based in Roanoke, donated 150 laptops to Roanoke’s public schools on Wednesday. The laptops were all either new or less than five years old and were identified as available for donation after a recent expansion of and inventory of the company’s technology division, according to technology support manager Brian Boggs.

The laptops will be used by students throughout the district, city schools spokesman Justin McLeod said.
