We are being asked to believe that these guys took their day off to travel to Washington DC and attend the riot but not to riot. We are asked to believe that they were invited onto the capital grounds and into the capital even though our eyes show us that the crowd pushed in, beat up guards, and broke windows to get into the capital. We are asked to believe they were peacefully protesting even while a riot with horrible language was going on around them. I'm not sure if we are being asked to think that flipping the bird to a camera is a nice or amusing gesture but I bet they found it funny.
I am sure in our 'Trump country' that lots of people reading this will believe these guys but I am not one of them.
Just believe the media, they are the only honest folks out there these days. Ha ha ha ha
Much more honest than your idol, Tiny Hands Trump.
You are too funny.
Yeah, rrriiiiigggghhhhhhtttttt!
His 4 box post tells us all we ne4ed to know. His own words.
Absolutely none of this adds up. 1) Why on earth would the Capitol Police allow or invite them in when they were still securing and clearing the building? 2) Why would he post such incendiary words and expect us to then believe he is credible when his whole narrative is based on a delusional lie? 3) The Town of Rocky Mount has rumors swirling in their community about the leader and officer shenanigans that need to be investigated and aired since they are so big on transparency and the rule of law. I just do not believe them and they should not be police officers.
Sandi. I think we are all objectively looking for answers. But why was it so easy for these protestors to get into the capital building. Why wasn’t the threats handled more seriously by various law enforcement. Much doesn’t make sense about any of this. Time will reveal some truth I’m sure.
Yep here you go again ! You were there RIGHT ? You witnessed all of this as it happened ? You have FIRST HAND knowledge of the situation ? NO YOU DON"T Sandi !
I spent a career in law enforcement. What these two men did was the antithesis of what they are sworn to do. To hear them tell it, they were merely tourists, enjoying an inside look at our government. As a democracy, we can no longer afford the luxury of allowing thugs to wear badges. In my mind, they've gone from being cops to being complicit with cop killers.
Ought to fire them and lock them up!
Also, as more and more information and shocking behavior comes to light daily, this nasty bit of work will come to be investigated fully and the true depths of their treason and sedition will come to light. Joining a cult is dangerous and often disastrous too.
One of their fellow law enforcement officers was beaten to death by the MAGA mob. Anyone who continues to perpetuate the #BigLie that the election was stolen is complicit in this horror.
It's disturbing to think that had Mr. Fracker not been a part of the insurrection, he might be with his National Guard unit at the Capitol next week - facing down his MAGA comrades. Which side would he choose?
In the Civil War there were some that wore blue coats and gray pants and were shot at by both sides. Probably some of that will be happening.
So here is another point view to toss into this cesspool of political hoopla, which is really all it is:
1. I bet these Rocky Mount officers, who have put their lives on the line for ALL of us, many years before the capital hill event, had no way of knowing what the outcome of the protest was going to be. Sandi, I am sure will berate, as usual, but really did these guys think they were walking into a deadly event - I highly doubt it. Perhaps they did not appreciate what lows an excited mob can reach - however they would not be alone in this underestimate which is why any mob, or any color, race or creed is the exact opposite of what this country and its justice system stands for. Is any attack or riot on federal government property any different if it happens in Portland or DC? Or is it our political leadership and media which makes it different?
2. When emotion is high, tension is evident, can we take a breath, step back and have a rationale discussion, a civil conversation without the politics. The outcome of the opposing protests is bad for all of us, but really, with a straight face, can either side of this cesspool claim the moral high ground. The 20+ people, our fellow citizens who died in protests in 2020-Capital Hill debacle were from all walks of life, both sides, libs and conservatives. Our politicians have egged them on, encouraged them, or looked away. Is this the correct approach? I do not think so.
