The children's holiday parade returned to Roanoke's Grandin Village on Saturday morning after a two-year hiatus due to weather in 2019 and the pandemic in 2020.

The parade highlights community and children's groups and politicians and features the Patrick Henry High School marching band, as well as Santa atop a fire truck. Sponsored by the Grandin Village Business Association and Raleigh Court Neighborhood Association, the parade has long signaled the kickoff of the holiday season in Roanoke.
