Photos: New high-powered MRI scanner comes to VTC

Workers with S&S Rigging on June 25 delivered a high-powered MRI research scanner that will be used in the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC's sophisticated imaging center to study human conditions, such as cancer and dementia, in mouse models.

Stephanie has worked full-time at the Roanoke Times as a photographer for 33 years. She received her BA in Mass Communications from Tulane University & Masters in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
