The Christiansburg Soccer Club’s U19 Boys Team, Fusion, won the 2018 Kroger Cup championship with shut-out wins over Roanoke Star’s Premier and Elite teams, West Virginia’s East River Soccer Association, and South Carolina’s Discoveries Soccer Club.

The team is comprised of local players from around the New River Valley: Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford, Riner and Wythe.

2018 was the 15th year for the Kroger Cup. Games were hosted by the VBR Star Club and played the weekend of Oct. 6-7 at Roanoke’s new soccer sportsplex.
